Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to the D-eCRF platform ("Service") operated by Dysplasia Diagnostics Ltd. By using the Service you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your organisation.

1. Eligibility & accounts

Access is granted on approval of an access request by an authorised Admin or Study Manager. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for activity carried out under your credentials.

2. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for the legitimate research purposes approved by your organisation's ethics/IRB.
• Do not attempt to bypass access controls or extract data belonging to other organisations.
• Do not upload malware, illegal content, or direct participant identifiers unless your Customer agreement explicitly permits it.

3. Data ownership

Customers retain all rights to research data they enter. We claim no ownership and use Customer data only to operate and improve the Service in line with our Privacy Policy.

4. Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly availability but provide the Service on an "as-is" basis without warranty. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced in advance.

5. Suspension & termination

We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms, jeopardise platform security, or violate applicable law. On termination, Customer data is retained per the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy and then irreversibly deleted.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data attributable to Customer misconfiguration, or any clinical decisions made from data exported from the Service.

7. Regulatory context

The Service is designed to support GCP-compliant clinical research workflows but is not a medical device. Customers remain responsible for compliance with applicable regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, MHRA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, etc.) and for the validity of any clinical conclusions.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email to Admins at least 30 days before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
